A place that can take you to the world of children’s games

In 2024, the Museum of Toys was opened in the town of Spore. The museum presents old-fashioned toys acquired from a private collection of the owner. As part of the project, with us operating as a general contractor, we designed the entire exhibition space, installed the required systems and built all the exhibition stands. While designing this exhibition, it was incredibly important not to hide the beauty of the building itself. For this purpose, the building was moved 400 kilometres from one of the towns in Podlasie. The project was divided into two zones: internal (museum) and external (a kind of playground).

The museum part was designed so that the visitors could discover and, at the same time, play with selected items available at the exhibition. The visitors can not only admire the covers of old magazines but also browse through them. Apart from discovering fun facts related to toys, the guests can also participate in a quiz, play selected board games or record their own film using puppets. The most popular attraction among youth visitors is the stand entitled “Teddy Bear”, where they can become the bear and customise it as they want to.

In the external part, we built 3 stands where younger guests visiting the museum can discover and play games that were played by their parents not such a long time ago. The guests can play the popular “hopscotch”, go into a naval battle using a special table for the battleships or play “caps” on the track full of obstacles and jumps.

Our Stavio exhibition management system manages the entire exhibition.
