Interactive applications for the Lesser Poland Science Centre
For the newly established Lesser Poland Science Centre, we developed a set of 6 interactive applications for the permanent exhibition entitled “Human beings and their dreams”.
One of the most interesting applications is the one for the “I am a speck” stand, which enables the guests visiting the exhibition to go on a space flight. The flight is operated by a rocket ship simulator developed for this purpose, which can be controlled using a professional joystick. During the experience, the guests can see how huge the galaxy around them is.
Another stand which simply cannot be ignored is entitled “Astrobiology”. As part of the project, we prepared a complete low-voltage installation to control the entire stand, using, e.g. an Arduino microcontroller, a step motor or numerous transmitters and switches. All these devices are there to make the experience as immersive as never before.
