A modern science centre
The Knowledge Centre is a project implemented by the Municipal Public Library in Bolesławiec, which decided to create a place combining culture, science and information in its modern building. On the ground floor of the building, over a dozen interactive stands were installed (touch monitors, a video wall and an interactive floor), with accompanying applications we developed.
The most interesting application featured in the entire exhibition is the Solar System, which was generated using the 3D engine and installed on the video touch wall. Using their gestures, the guests can explore the Solar System and discover the most important information on the planets.
Another attraction for visitors is the Microscope application, which offers the users two operating modes: a knowledge quiz and sample examinations. The application presents macro pictures of various animals and plants, while the user’s task is to match them with the names.
