A mobile application for foreign students

As part of the NAWA project, the University of Wrocław requested us to create a mobile application that helps foreign students integrate with the university environment.

The application has been implemented with wayfinder functions, allowing students to create routes to any lecture room. All the rooms at the university were assigned QR codes, which allows the algorithm responsible for assigning the route to operate precisely, even inside the building.

After logging in to the application, which became possible thanks to integrating with the university’s USOS system, students have access to personalised information: a schedule or contact details of selected lecturers. The application is also a collection of the most important information and documents that can be viewed by users from their phones.

As part of the project, we also developed an application management system that is available in any web browser. Apart from editing content, the system can also send PUSH notifications to application users.
