Customer: MTU Aero Engines Polska sp. z o. o.
Implementation date: December 2024
The Flight Simulator is a project developed for MTU Aero Engines Polska and the Podkarpackie Science Centre to promote aviation in a modern and engaging way.
The station takes the form of a two-person cockpit enhanced with sound and light effects, airflow and vibrations, thanks to which participants can feel like they are in a real aeroplane. Users of the simulator sit in the pilots’ seats and control an Airbus A320 aircraft – in the CEO version with a V2500 engine or NEO with a PW1100G-JM unit.
The educational part includes an animation showing how a jet engine works and an interactive game called ‘Flows,’ in which you can control the parameters of the engine. The entertainment module enables realistic flight simulation – participants taxi around the airport apron, take off in changing weather conditions and receive messages from the control tower, facing additional difficulties along the route.
The station combines learning with fun, providing an intense experience for both young people and adults. It is also fully accessible to wheelchair users.
