Mobile application – Arian Tower in Wojciechów

At the request of the Municipal Cultural Centre in Wojciechów, we carried out a project using 3D technology and augmented reality (AR), the aim of which was to present the history of the Arian Tower and its immediate surroundings in a modern way. The heart of the project was a digital reconstruction of the manor house next to the tower, which no longer exists today, developed on the basis of archival materials and in cooperation with a subject matter expert.
The mobile application created allows users to explore the manor house in two forms: as an interactive 3D postcard and in augmented reality mode. Thanks to the use of geolocation and AR trackers, users can see the reconstructed objects in real scale, precisely placed in the space around the Arian Tower. The project was designed with high performance, multilingualism and WCAG-compliant accessibility in mind.
The application was complemented by a 3D animation enriched with VFX effects, combined with drone footage. The material presents the contemporary landscape of Wojciechów with the reconstruction of the Arian Tower and the manor house integrated into it, while also serving as a promotional tool for the project.
The result is a modern educational and promotional tool that combines history with technology, allowing audiences to experience local cultural heritage in an engaging, contemporary form.
