We have developed an Open Data Portal for the City of Toruń – a modern platform that provides residents, businesses and organisations with easy access to public information.
The portal provides data in a readable form: tables, charts, maps and downloadable files. It is equipped with an intuitive search engine, a system of categories and tags, as well as tools for generating summaries and reports. Thanks to the built-in API, users – including application and service developers – can automatically download data in various formats.
The website has been developed using responsive technology, compliant with the WCAG 2.0 standard, making it accessible on any device and user-friendly for all users. Stability, security and reliable operation around the clock are ensured by a robust server infrastructure and mechanisms to protect data and users.
The result of the project is a transparent, functional and easy-to-use portal that supports the development of the city, increases the transparency of the administration and opens up data to residents and local businesses.
