Flyport on Tour is a mobile exhibition that builds on the previously created Flyport educational and entertainment zone at Warsaw-Radom Airport. The project was designed to engage visitors of all ages by combining fun and education with modern technology.
The project includes aviation-inspired stations, such as ‘Build and Fly’, where participants assemble their own paper aeroplanes and test them in an arcade game, and ‘Launch and Fly’ – a station with rockets, allowing visitors to play the role of a young engineer and test the power of a rocket launch.
However, the biggest attraction is the VR goggles, which allow participants to transport themselves to the virtual Flyport. Viewers explore the space in the form of a 360° film and take part in an interactive game called ‘Sky Flight’, where they compete for points by throwing paper aeroplanes into hoops suspended in virtual space. Both the film and the VR game have been prepared in three language versions: Polish, English and French, which allows the exhibition to be presented in an international environment.
Flyport on Tour was designed as a mobile exhibition – easy to transport and set up in various locations. Thanks to this, it can be hosted at outdoor events, family picnics and festivals, engaging audiences and promoting the idea of combining science with fun.
