Customer: Palace in Chrzęsne

Implementation date: May 2024

The project for the Palace in Chrzęsne combines modern technologies with the historical heritage of the place. Our goal was to create a solution that would allow visitors to discover the past in an engaging, interactive and accessible way, regardless of their age or prior knowledge.

The result of the project is a mobile multimedia application that enriches the tour with augmented reality and immersive video materials. It consists of two modules that guide users through the palace’s history in complementary forms.

The first is a virtual visit, allowing users to transport themselves into the world of the Palace thanks to 360° films, played in VR mode. Visitors can view selected spaces in full immersion, with the ability to look around freely and feel present in the historic interiors.

The second pillar is augmented reality, used in the virtual guide module. The application recognises selected images in space and launches matching video materials, creating the effect of a living history that literally “appears” in the user’s surroundings.

The project is complemented by a clear interface with intuitive navigation, language support and accessibility features such as audio description and sign language translation. This makes the application accessible to a wide range of users, including people with disabilities.

The result is a solution that not only supports the reception of historical content, but also enhances the attractiveness of the exhibition, bringing the Palace in Chrzęsne in line with modern standards of sightseeing and cultural promotion.
